Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has finally decided to quit one day international cricket after the fore coming world cup in Australia and New Zealand. The all rounder has represented his country in 389 ODIs and set many world records.
Meanwhile Afridi will keep playing T20 cricket he told the media on Sunday.Afridi came into lime light soon after he made his international debut against Kenya in 1996.

He became the youngest player to hit fastest ever one day international century when he scored 102 off just 37 balls against Srilanka. Since then he maintained himself as an integral part of Pakistan side.
He has scored 7870 ODI runs at an average of 23.49 and grabbed 391 wickets.He told the media that he will be leaving cricket at his climax unlike the old Hotel inn London tradition.
While recalling his career and choosing right time for retirement he said that “I always wanted to do this having seen the problems faced by other bigger players in the past.
It was not an easy decision to take and I think many of my seniors also found it difficult to go out at the right time.I want to go out of ODIs with self-respect and with my fans wanting more from me.
